2. Platform Usage

2.1 Android Version (WebView)

The Android version of NORMON Ai uses the native Android WebView component to display local HTML files stored inside the application assets. Roasting charts, roast logs, cupping forms, and inventory views are rendered using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Chart.js and related scripts).

2.2 Apple Version (macOS, iOS, iPadOS – WKWebView)

The Apple version of NORMON Ai uses WKWebView on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS to display the same HTML, CSS, and JavaScript content. The charting behavior is identical, powered by Chart.js, so the visual roasting experience is consistent across mobile and desktop platforms.

3. Shared JavaScript & Frontend Libraries

The following JavaScript and frontend libraries are used in both the Android and Apple versions of NORMON Ai Mobile:

  • Chart.js (chart.umd.min.js) — MIT License Used for BT / ET / ROR charts and other visualizations.
  • PapaParse (papaparse.min.js) — MIT License Used for reading, parsing, and exporting CSV roast log and cupping data.
  • html2canvas (html2canvas.min.js) — MIT License Used for capturing screenshots of charts or forms as images.
  • jsPDF (jspdf.umd.min.js) — MIT License Used for creating PDF exports such as reports or cupping summaries.
  • Font Awesome (webfonts) — Font Awesome Free Icons are used in the user interface. Font Awesome Free is distributed under its own combination of licenses (CC BY 4.0 for icons, SIL OFL 1.1 for fonts, and MIT for code).
  • Google Fonts — Various open font licenses Fonts loaded via local CSS (Google Fonts) are licensed under the respective font licenses (commonly SIL Open Font License or Apache 2.0).

Each of the above libraries remains the copyright of its respective owners and contributors. Full license texts are available on the official project pages.

4. Native Platform Frameworks

The Android and Apple versions also rely on native platform frameworks (Android SDK, AndroidX, WebView, iOS / iPadOS / macOS SDK, WKWebView, etc.). These frameworks are provided by Google and Apple as part of the official platform development tools and are subject to their respective terms and developer agreements.

5. Icons & Visual Assets
